So here we are. New domain, new site.
I tried a few other CMS, Blogs and Portals, and landed on Drupal. After rectifying a few initial install issues, I got it up and running. It has very strong WP vibes from the Admin side, and even on the user's end, there's a strong visual resemblance. But that's where the similarities end. From the get-go, Drupal is about security. This is a real CMS for multiple users, that employs a very detailed permission system. From the limited time I've been playing around with it, I've been more than impressed, and can understand why such departments and companies, like Tesla, the Australian Defence website, McDonalds Australia (and many more), are using it.
I've not scratched the surface much, so still have a long journey ahead. I intend on bringing more thrilling updates of my Drupal discoveries, so stay tuned.
If you've read this far, and you're a friend, why not consider signing up as a site member, at https://davecroucher.com/user/register (not hyperlinked in order to protect me a little from bots...).
Until next time.
Dave.
